12. Power – This LED glows a steady green
whiletheTeraStationisoperatingnormally.It
blinks quickly during bootup and shutdown,
and slowly while the TeraStation is in sleep
mode.
13. Link/Act–ThisLEDwillglowwhenthe
TeraStationisconnectedtoanetwork,andblink
during normal network activity. It changes color
toindicate thespeed ofthe connection:blue
fora1000Mbpsconnection,greenfor100Mbps,
andredfora10Mbpsconnection.
14. Power Socket–Plugthepowercordinto
this socket.
15. Power Switch – This is the TeraStation’s
masterpowerswitch.Whileitison,thepower
buttononthefrontpaneloftheTeraStationmay
beusedtostartandshutdowntheunit.When
thisswitchisoff,nopowergoestotheunit.If
thisswitchisleftoffforanextendedperiodof
time, the TeraStation’s internal system clock
mayneedtobereset.
16. Internal Fan–Theinternalfanwilladjust
itsspeedaccordingtothetemperatureinsidethe
TeraStation. To prevent possible overheating,
keep the fan clear and clean of obstacles or
dust.
17. INIT Button – The INIT buttonrestores
your TeraStation to factory default settings. See
page 60 for more information on using the INIT
button.
