*An external HDD connected via USB is for transfer and backup only. It cannot be used to directly playback video. *The IEEE1394 port on the PR-1000HD is for connecting to video compatible devices and will not recognize external HDDs.
<Notes> When capturing video, capture several seconds before and after the desired portion of the clip and then set the appropriate start and end points in the EDIT mode. You cannot capture from a tape recorded in multiple formats.
?Captured video should be more than 1 second
in length. Video clips that are less than 15 frames in length may not be able to be played smoothly.
