Connection of an aerial
S If you would like to connect cable or a terrestrial
aerial, use the ”AERIAL” socket provided for this
purpose.
Insertion of the batteries into the remote control
S Open the cover of the battery component.
S Insert the two batteries (AAA) supplied into the
battery compartment.
Pay attention to the polarity (+) and (-) marked on
the bottom of the battery compartment.
S Close the cover of the battery compartment.
Using the remote co ntrol
Use the remote control within a distance of about 6 m
from theremote controlsensor on the LCD/plasma TV
and within a horizontal and vertical angle of 30°.
The remote control may notwork, ifthe remote control
sensoroftheLCD/plasmaTV is exposed to directsun-
light or strong artificial light.
Connecting t he mains cable
S Insert the mains cable into the mains input socket
on the LCD/plasma TV and the mains plug into a
mains outlet.
S Switch the mains switch on the rear side of the
LCD/plasma TV to position ”I”. The LCD/plasma
TV is now in standby mode and can be switched
on with the remote control.
