Callers will normally have the problem of erasing a labeled channel. Everytime they select "Channel
Caption" to delete a label, a message appears explaining that the memory is full. This means the
channel they are currently tuned to is not labeled, therefore cannot not be canceled. The set assumes
they want to label this channel. Ask the caller to tune to a channel that is labeled then select "Channel
Caption" to cancel the labeling.
ii
You can always either lock or unlock any one of the four channels using code "777", regardless of
what the key number actually is. Code "777" will always lock or unlock each station.
iii
This is not printed in the manual, but should be done when finished.
iv
Here's how the automatic message really works:
Once the message is entered in, everytime the set is turned on the message will appear on the tv screen.
To remove the message the user simply needs to adjust the volume or change channels. This procedure
cannot be overidden. If the tv is on at the specified setting time the message will reappear. This design
ensures the person the message was intended for gets the message even if the individual was not
watching television at the specified setting time.
