on the screen, 2 years on the CRTs and 1 year on the remaining parts from the date of
original purchase. During the applicable limited warranty period for parts, defective
parts will be replaced at no charge for the part. Parts used for the replacement will be
warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period for that part.
2. LABOR - For a period of 90 days from the date of purchase, Hitachi will repair or
replace the screen if it proves to be defective without charge for labor. For all other
parts, Hitachi will provide the labor for warranty repair at no charge for the period of one
year from date of original purchase. Except for the screen as noted above, the labor
service during this one year period includes (at Hitachi's option) either in-home repair or
free pick up and delivery.
3. Owner must provide verification of the date of purchase when requesting Limited
Warranty Service. (Dated Sales Receipt Required)
4. All repairs must be performed by a Hitachi Authorized Service Facility.

Warranty Limitations
The Limited Warranty provided by Hitachi does not cover:
A. Antennas, cabinet, cabinet parts, knobs, batteries and accessories.
B. Screens that have been cleaned with anything other than water and a mild soap
solution.
C. Lenses from units that have been sold or transferred from the original purchaser.
Any lens element that is permanently attached to the CRT assembly is excluded from
the lifetime warranty. The labor to repair or replace will be at no charge during the one
