1. Latitude Range:The mount is by default shipped
with the Long Latitude Adjustment Knob installed
(for 3560°).Atlower latitudes of035º, the Short
LatitudeAdj.Knobneedstobeused.Tochangethis
knob,remove the Latitude LockingTbolts onbot h
sides (do not lose the 4
washers).Unscrew Bottom
Post Locking Screw to free the Bottom Latitude Adj.
Post and remove the Latitude Adj. Knob.Thread in
evenly
theadequate LatitudeAdj. Knob toTop and
Bottom Latitude Adjustment Posts.Reinstall and
tightenbottomlockingscrew.Lastly,with4washers
all properly placed, insert and tighten Latitude
LockingTboltsintotheupperthreadedholes.
2. Tripod Setup:The Alignment Peg should be at the
north
side for northern hemisphere, and vice versa.
Thread the tripodCenterRod throughtri pod head
andinsert theAccessoryTrayandtheTrayLocking
Knob.LeaveTrayLockingKnobslightlyloose.

TheremovableAlignmentPegmaybeplacedat
the oppositelocation on the tripodheadshould the
scope hitthe tripodleg athigh latitudes.This does
notchangethesetupconfigurationdescribedabove.]

3. AttachMount:RetractbothAzimuthAdj.Knobsto
allowenoughclearanceinsidethechamber.Position
themountonthetripodheadwiththeAlignmentPeg
inbetweenthe2AzimuthAdj.Knobs.Threadthe
Center Rod into mount to secure it with tripod.
Tighten the Tray Locking Knob to fully spread the
tripodlegs. Adjustthetripodlegstolevelthemount
usingtheLevelBubble.
4. Adjust Latitude:Loosen the2 LatitudeLocking T
bolts.TurnLatitudeAdj.Knobtoadjustthelatitude
untilthearrow pointstothecurrentlatitudeonthe
Latitude Scale (2

photo in Step 1).Tighten the
LatitudeLockingTboltswhendone.
