To get you connected, the 5.1- and 7.1-channel AVR1600 features
three HDMI v.1.4a (3D compatible) inputs and one output with12-bit
Deep Color and xvYCC pass-through, two wide-bandwidth HDTV-
ready component video inputs/one output, subwoofer output, four
A/V inputs, plus two audio-only inputs, and eight-channel-direct in-
puts for use with external surround decoders. It also offers conven-
ient front-panel audio/video input for use with video games or
portable players, six digital inputs (two optical and two coaxial on
rear panel, and oneoptical and one coaxial on front panel), one coaxial digital output on rear panel, auxiliary input for connecting portable
media players, and a USB port for firmware upgrades. Includes seven-device, preprogrammed system remote control.
HK 3390 • HK 3490 Stereo Receivers
The HK 3390 (2x 80W) features high-current, ultra-wide
bandwidth amplification to deliver all the subtlety of an original

The AVR 2600 steps-up from the AVR1600 with another HDMI 1.4a
input, Faroudja DCDi Cinema video processing with upscaling to
1080p, multiroom audio, and surround back amplifier channels
configurable for use as second-zone amplification. It offers full-color,
high-definition, graphical on-screen interface, including HDMI and
component video. Compressed music tools improve playback quality
of any compressed audio stream. Connects to Harman’s The Bridge
III docking station for playback, control and charging of iPod and
iPhone. Also features Dolby Volume technology, programmable power-up volume, and IR remote extension jacks for control of the amplifier
when placed in a cabinet. Othewise the same, the AVR 3600 is equipped with 7.1preamp outputs, allowing the use of external amplifiers.
