DTV Signal

Press the SIGNAL button on the remote
control.
View the on-screen signal strength moni-
tor to see the quality of the signal being
received.
Press exit button to return to TV viewing.

Lets you know how strong your DTV signal is and whether
you need to adjust your antenna or digital cable input.
The higher the signal strength, the less likely you are to
experience degradation.
NOT all areas or programs are currently
available with Digital DTV signals.
Select the DTV in Input Source on the
menu, to check the DTV signal.

Press the MENU button on the remote
control, then use the UP/DOWN arrow
button to select the SETUP menu.
Press the RIGHT arrow button to access
the SETUP menu.
Use the UP/DOWN arrow to select the DTV
Signal. Current signal strength is shown
on menu.
Press EXIT button to return to TV viewing.

Degaussing the Screen
Press the MENU button on the remote
control, then use the UP/DOWN arrow
button to select the SETUP menu.
Press the RIGHT arrow button to access
the SETUP menu.
Use the UP/DOWN arrow button to select
Degauss, then press the RIGHT arrow
button to perform the Degauss function.
Press EXIT button to return to TV viewing
or press MENU button to return to the
previous menu.

The magnetic field of the earth may affect the color puri-
ty of the picture and other magnetic influences nearby
may also have an affect on color purity. Even the installa-
tion direction of the TV set may affect color purity.
Stripes may appear on the screen or the color may not be
equal in the corners. You can restore color quality by
operating the Degauss.
If you are unable to correct problem by degaussing,
try again after about 4 minutes.
