Switching Digital / Analog Mode
You can easily switch the DTV (ATSC) and TV (NTSC) with the remote control
and enjoy viewing the TV programs with simple operation.
Press [DTV/TV] repeatedly to change the input mode.

Note:
• When you switch the analog mode to the digital mode,
it may take a while until the digital channel selection
is completed. The following message is displayed while
switching the mode.
NOW SCANNING
Accessing External Devices
Use your remote control to access an external device when they are
connected to the unit.
Press [INPUT SELECT] repeatedly to cycle through
analog TV, digital TV, VIDEO1 and VIDEO2.

• To use the video or S-video input jack on the rear of
the unit, select “VIDEO1”.
• To use the video input jack on the front of the unit,
select “VIDEO2”.
Screen Information
You can display the currently selected channel or other information such as
the audio mode on the TV screen.

In the analog mode, the current channel number is displayed.
Press [INFO].

• The current channel number is displayed at the top-
right corner of the TV screen.
• To clear the display, press [INFO] again.

DTV
In the digital mode, the detailed broadcasting information for the current
channel such as program title, the program guides are displayed.
Press [INFO] repeatedly to cycle through the available
display modes.

• The following information is displayed.
1 channel number
2 broadcast station
3 program title
4 audio language
Press [AUDIO] repeatedly to cycle through the
available audio languages.
(“OTHER” is displayed when the audio language
cannot be acquired, or the acquired languages are
other than English, Spanish or French.)

• “No description provided” is displayed when the program
guide is not provided.
• While the program guide is displayed, the closed caption
function is interrupted.
• In external input mode, the following screen is displayed;
e.g.) When an external device is connected to S-video input
jack.
VIDEO 1
• Available languages differ depending on the broadcast.
• The information display will automatically disappear in 1
minute.
• Pressing [AUDIO] does not control external audio source.
