Switching to 16:9 wide screen picture
If you are using a cassette with 16:9 wide screen recordings,
you can switch this function ’ON’. The TV-VIDEO Combi will
now automatically switch to wide screen.
a Press the MENU button. The main menu appears.
b Select the line ’Setup’ with the BP r or AP q
button and confirm with the SqC button.

ã Exit:
« press MENU
c Select the line ’Format 16:9’ with the AP q or
BP r button.
d Select one of the possibilities with the SqC or
DSr button.
’NORMAL’ : Normal size picture.
’EXTEND.’ : Extended size picture.
’COMPR.’ : 16:9 format picture.
DWhen you watch TV you can select between
’EXTEND.’ and ’NORMAL’.
e Confirm with the OK button.
f To end, press the MENU button.
Switching the remote control command
If you have two machines with the same remote control
command, you can change the remote control command of the
handset and the remote control command of your TV-VIDEO
Combi.
a Press the MENU button. The main menu appears.
b Select the line ’Setup’ with the menu buttons
BP r or AP q and confirm with the menu button
SqC .

« press MENU
c Select the line ’VCR 1/2’ with the menu buttons
BP r or AP q .
d Select ’VCR 1’or’VCR 2’ with the menu buttons
DSr or SqC .
e Confirm with the OK button.
f On the remote control, press the STOP h button and the
digit button 2 at the same time to switch the remote
control to ’VCR 2’.
DIf you want to switch back to ’VCR 1, press the
STOP h button and the digit button 1 at the same
time.
g Confirm with the STOP h button.
h To end, press the MENU button.
DAfter you changed the batteries in the remote
control, it will switch back to ’VCR 1’.
DIf e.g.: ’VCR 1’ appears on the TV screen after
pressing a button for a few seconds, you must
switch the remote control to ’VCR 2’.
