ON Automatically displays a menu allowing easy navigation of the contents of any USB device
whenever it is plugged into the USB connector of the TV set.
OFF Disables the menu display from automatically appearing whenever any USB device is
plugged into the USB connector of the TV set. However, the contents of the USB device
can still be accessed manually.
BLANK CHANNEL
The Blank Channel function disables the display of video on the TV, but does not affect the audio
output. This function can be used for audio applications (example: music-only channels, and so on)
which do not necessarily require the display of video.
ON The current channel is blanked (Video only)
OFF The current channel is not blanked (this is the Default setting)
BLANK CHANNEL can be set for every channel. Use [CH+ / CH-] to visit all the channels and
set the desired status per channel. The channel number is visible in the top left corner.
CHANNEL TABLE
ON The TV set will process the Channel Table (PSIP) information when BDS Mode is On. This
may also result in background channel installation updates to the TV (when available).
OFF Disables the use of the Channel Table (PSIP) information when TV channel auto
installation is performed. The BDS Mode option must also be set to “Install” before auto
installation is triggered.
Note: If CHANNEL TABLE = OFF during TV channel installation, it is possible that channels
carrying Emergency Alert System (EAS) signals may not be installed. The TV installer must verify
that the EAS signal is available on any one (or more) of the channels that are successfully installed
on the TV.
This TV supports the cloning of picture and configuration settings from one TV set to another, via
any standard USB Memory storage device. Follow these steps to clone the TV settings:
1. Use a PC to create a folder called “Repair” in your USB Memory device.
2. Plug the USB Memory device into the USB Connector jack on the TV set
3. From the BDS Mode Setup Menu, select TV TO SMARTLOADER (
if copying the
settings from the TV to the USB Memory device
) or SMARTLOADER TO TV (
if
copying the settings from the USB Memory device to the TV
)
TV TO SMARTLOADER
LOAD Makes a copy of the TV Configuration data (including the Video, Audio, Channel
Table, and BDS Mode settings) and stores it on any USB Memory device.
SMARTLOADER TO TV
LOAD Clones the TV Configuration data (including the Video, Audio, Channel Table, and
BDS Mode settings) from any USB Memory device to the TV.
