ADJUSTING PICTURE CONTROLS
T
o adjust your TV picture controls,
select a channel and follow these
steps. See descriptions of the picture-
adjustment options below.

Press the MENU button on
the remote control to show the
onscreen menu.

Press the CURSOR RIGHT
button. BRIGHTNESS will be
highlighted and an adjustment bar
will be shown to the right.

Press the CURSOR RIGHT
button or LEFT to adjust the
BRIGHTNESS level of the pic-
ture. Or press the CURSOR
DOWN button to select anoth-
er picture control to adjust.

Press the INFO/EXIT button
to exit the menu.

Picture-adjustment Options
Remember, when the bar scale is cen-
tered , the control settings
are at mid-range levels. Picture adjust-
ments are described as follows:
BRIGHTNESS raises and lowers the
black level of the picture.
PICTURE raises or lowers the intensity
of the picture (also called contrast).
SHARPNESS improves the detail in the
picture.
COLOR adds or eliminates color.
TINT adjusts the picture to obtain natu-
ral skin tones.
COLOR TEMP offers NORMAL,
COOL, or WARM picture preferences.
NORMAL keeps whites white.
WARM makes whites less blue.
COOL makes whites more blue.
