You can use the disc info screen for the following
proceedings:
– Changing the disc name
– Activating or deactivating the write protection
– Making edits compatible for other DVD players
– Finalising DVD+R discs
– Erasing DVD+RW discs
How to display the disc info screen
1 Press STOPÇ when playback is stopped or press
DISC MENU on the remote control during playback.
2 Press 3 on the remote control as often as necessary until
you reach the first title of the disc menu.
3 Press 3 again on the remote control.
➜ The disc info screen appears.

To exit the disc info screen press 4 on the remote control.
Changing the disc name (DVD+R,
DVD+RW discs only)
1 Press STOPÇ when playback is stopped or press
DISC MENU on the remote control during playback.
2 Press 3 on the remote control as often as necessary until
you reach the first title of the disc menu.
3 Press 3 again on the remote control.
➜ The disc info screen appears.
4 Press 2 on the remote control.
➜ The menu Settings for appears.
5 Press 4 or 3 on the remote control as often as necessary
to select the line Disc name.
6 Press 2 on the remote control to confirm the selection.
7 Use 1 or 2 on the remote control to move to the character
to be deleted or substituted.
➜ The character is highlighted.
8 Use 4 or 3 on the remote control to select a new
character, symbol or number.

To switch between upper and lower case press SELECT on
the remote control.

To delete a character press CLEAR on the remote control.
9 Repeat steps 7–8 until the name of the recording is
changed as desired.
10 Press OK on the remote control to confirm the new name.
➜ Storing name is displayed.
11 Press 1 on the remote control to end.

To exit the disc info screen press 4 on the remote control.
