VIII. 3D SETTINGS
a) 3D MODE – This option sets the 3D displaying style (frame
packing, side by side, top and bottom). Frame Packing will be
automatically detected, but side by side or top and bottom videos
need s the user to manually switch them.
b) L R SWAP – This option changes the 3D depth panning to the left
or the right.
c) 2D TO 3D – This option uses the TV hardware to try to add a 3D
effect to regular movies or TV programs.
d) DEPTH – This option adjusts the gap between the double images
giving you a more pronounced 3D effect. The larger the value,
the farther you must sit away to see the effect.
e) 3D TO 2 D SETTINGS – This option changes any 3D video to 2D.
i. 3D to 2D Mode – To switch 3D videos to 2D you need
to identify which method the 3D movie is using to
produce the 3D effects. There are currently 3
methods (frame packing, side by side, and top and
bottom). Select the correct method and the video will
be correctly changed to 2D.
ii. Switch Display – This option changes the display.
IX. RESET PICTURE SETTING – This option resets all options under PICTURE
SETTING back to factory default.
Please Note:
• Turning on Dynamic Contrast disables brightness and contrast settings.
• This TV only detects 3D Frame Packing technique, for DVD/Blu-ray DVDs that use
side by side or top and bottom methods you will need to manually switch them.
• As Depth adjustments increase, you need to sit further away from the TV to
experience the effects.
• 3D is only available under digital or HD content and sources such as digital TV
channels, HDMI1-HDMI3 and YPbPr.
• YOU NEED TO WEAR THE PASSIVE 3D GLASSES included in the package to
experience 3D. Without the glasses you will see blurry images.
