CONNECTING TV/DVD/VHS TO AUDIO SYSTEM

Using industry standard audio patch cords, connect one end to the Audio Output Left (white) and Right (red)
jacks on the rear of the TV/DVD/VCR, and the other end to the audio input Left (white) and Right (red) on
the audio system.
ANALOG CONNECTION:
The analog connection will allow you to take 2 channel stereo sound from the TV/DVD/VCR (or any source
plugged into the front of the TV) and sends the audio signal to an external audio system for amplification.
SELECTING ANALOG AND DIGITAL AUDIO SOUNDTRACKS:
To listen to digital multi channel DVD audio, please select the Coaxial Digital Audio input on the audio system.
To listen to analog audio from TV/DVD/VCR (and any source plugged into the front of the A/V input jack),
please select the analog input which you connected the left and right audio jacks.
For further solutions on selecting analog and digital audio inputs, please refer to your audio systems owners
manual.
SAFETY NOTES: Please turn of the power to all components before making any connections and refer to
the owners manual of the audio system for further installation and operational instructions.
Using industry standard audio patch cords, connect one end to the Coaxial Digital Audio Out jack on the
rear of the TV/DVD/VCR and the other to the Coaxial Digital Input on the audio system. Then select the
Coaxial Digital Audio Input on the Audio System to listen to multichannel (5.1) DVD sound.
DIGITAL CONNECTION: DVD SOUND ONLY
If your audio system features a COAXIAL Digital Audio Input jack and Dolby Digital/DTS multi channel
audio decoders, you may take full advantage of the multi channel surround sound capability of DVD discs.

IMPORTANT NOTES: If you use the COAXIAL Digital audio connection for digital multi channel DVD
sound, you must also make the Analog connection to listen to TV/DVD/VCR (2 channel) and any source
plugged into the front A/V input jack.
