Viewing the TV
• ViewtheTVinmoderatelight,as
viewingtheTVinpoorlightorfora
longperiodoftimestrainsyoureyes.
• Whenusingheadphones,adjustthe
volumesoastoavoidexcessive
levels,ashearingdamagemayresult.
LCD Screen
• AlthoughtheLCDscreenismade
withhigh-precisiontechnologyand
99.99%ormoreofthepixelsare
active,blackdotsorbrightpointsof
light(red,blue,orgreen)mayappear
constantlyontheLCDscreen.Thisis
astructuralfeatureoftheLCDscreen
andisnotamalfunction.
• Donotpushorscratchthefrontfilter,
orplaceobjectsontopofthisTV
set.Theimagemaybeunevenorthe
LCDscreenmaybedamaged.
• IfthisTVsetisusedinacoldplace,
asmearmayoccurinthepicture
orthepicturemaybecomedark.
Thisdoesnotindicateafailure.
Thesephenomenadisappearasthe
temperaturerises.
• Ghostingmayoccurwhenstill
picturesaredisplayedcontinuously.
• Thescreenandcabinetgetwarm

powder,orvolatilesolvent,such
asalcohol,benzene,thinneror
insecticide.Usingsuchmaterialsor
maintainingprolongedcontactwith
rubberorvinylmaterialsmayresult
indamagetothescreensurfaceand
cabinetmaterial.
• Periodicvacuumingoftheventilation
openingsisrecommendedtoensure
toproperventilation.
• WhenadjustingtheangleoftheTV
set,moveitslowlysoastoprevent
theTVsetfrommovingorslipping
offfromitstablestand.
