On the rear:
Connect to the BUS AUDIO IN/AUX AUDIO
IN terminals.
Selecting an auxiliary device
1 Press (SRC) repeatedly until “AUX” appears
on the main unit.
2 Press (MODE) to select “FRONT-IN” or
“REAR-IN.”
Operate by the auxiliary device itself.
Adjusting the volume level
Be sure to adjust the volume of each connected
device before playback.
Note
The input level may be high if the sound distortion of
AUX input occurs. Check the input level by the
deflection of the spectrum analyzer. To show the
spectrum analyzer, set “M.DSPL” to “SA” (page 47). If
the spectrum analyzer indicates a peak value, lower
the input level.
1 Turn down the volume on the unit.
2 Press (SRC) repeatedly until “AUX” appears
on the main unit.
If two auxiliary devices are connected, select
the device to adjust its volume by pressing
(MODE).
3 Start playback of the auxiliary device at a
moderate volume.
4 Set your usual listening volume on the unit.
5 Press (SYSTEM SETUP).
6 Press M/m to select “AUX-LVL,” then press
(ENTER).
7 Press M/m to adjust the input level.
The input level is adjustable in single steps,
between –6 and +18.
8 Press (ENTER).
The setting is complete.
To hide the system setup display, press
(SYSTEM SETUP).
With the main unit
Press (SOURCE) instead of (SRC), press (SETUP)
instead of (SYSTEM SETUP), rotate the control dial
instead of pressing M/m, then press the control dial
instead of (ENTER).
CD changer
Selecting the changer
1 Press (SRC) repeatedly until “CDC” appears.
2 Press (MODE) repeatedly until the desired
changer appears.
Playback starts.
With the main unit
Press (SOURCE) instead of (SRC).
Skipping albums and discs
1 During playback, press M/m.
* When an MP3 is played.
With the main unit
Use (3)/(4) (ALBUM –/+) instead of M/m.
