Programming a series of actions (macro) for a Component
List
z Tips
• For programming a macro for a List element, press in sequence function keys
and buttons you want to program as the macro procedure. Confirm the program
by pressing the [OK] key for the same component. It is not necessary to press the
[OK] key each time you press the individual function keys or buttons.
• Up to 128 steps (actions) can be programmed for one List element. However, the
number of steps (actions) that you can program may be less than 128 depending
on the free memory capacity of the Remote Commander.
Note
For programming a macro for a List element, you can program function keys and
buttons only for the selected component. For example, when the CD component is
selected, you cannot program function keys or buttons for another component,
such as TV or DVD, as the macro procedure.

Press the [OK] key.
A macro is programmed for the List
element and the display returns to the
component selection display (step 4 on
page 150).
Macro programming for a List element is
complete.
To finish the setting
Press the COMMANDER OFF button for 2 seconds or longer. The display returns
to the Home display. The setting finishes.
To delete a List element
You can delete a List element created by mistake, or an element that is no longer
in use.

Press the [SET] key for 2 seconds or longer in the Home display.
The Set display appears.

Press the [COMPONENT LIST] key.
