Reading data saved in a “Memory Stick” (READ)

If an error message appears
If an abnormal status of the “Memory Stick” or the Remote Commander is
detected while reading the “Memory Stick”, an error message appears.
About the data contents in the “Memory Stick”
You can read three types of data contents with the Remote Commander. The
respective types of data (meanings) for the items of “Data contents in the
“Memory Stick” “ in the table below are as follows.
All: all environment data (all data of the Remote Commander)
Preset: the latest remote control code (preset code) and its image data
Component: data for each component

Press the [YES] key.
The Remote Commander starts reading the file. When reading of the file
is correctly complete, the confirmation display appears. If you fail to read
the file, an error message appears. For details on the error message, see
pages 204 - 205.
z Tip
If you press the [NO] key, the display returns to step 2 without reading.
Note
Do not remove the “Memory Stick” or disconnect the AC power adaptor while
reading the file.

Press the [OK] key in the confirmation display.
The display returns to the first page of the Home display.

The “Memory Stick” cannot be
correctly read. Or there is no
file to be read.
The memory capacity of the
Commander is insufficient.
You cannot update the data.
Symptom and corrective action
You cannot correctly read the
“Memory Stick” or there is no file to
be read in the “Memory Stick.”
Save data on the “Memory Stick”
first, and then read it again.
The size of the data saved on the
“Memory Stick” is larger than the
free memory space of the Remote
Commander. Delete unnecessary
pages, etc., from the file on the
computer, and save the file again.
Then read the “Memory Stick” on
the Remote Commander again.
