Troubleshooting
Timer recording
The PDC function does
not operate properly.
Check that the clock and the date are set correctly.
Check that the PDC time you set is the correct one (there
might be a mistake in the TV programme guide). If the
broadcast you wanted to record did not send the good PDC
information, the VCR will not start recording.
If the reception is poor, the PDC signal might be altered
and the VCR might not start recording.
Synchronized Recording
The SYNCHRO REC
button turns off while
recording or does not go
back to recording
standby mode.
The tape has reached its end. Insert a new tape and press
SYNCHRO REC again.
The Synchronized
Recording function does
not work.
The connected equipment was not turned off.
Turn off the connected equipment and press SYNCHRO
REC again.
There was a power failure. Press SYNCHRO REC again.
The programme recorded
with the Synchronized
Recording function is
incomplete.
If the settings for timer recordings and Synchronized
Recording overlap, the programme that starts first has
priority and the second programme starts recording only
after the first programme has finished.
There was a power failure. Press SYNCHRO REC again.

The display window automatically becomes dim when the
