forward smooth searching, so you can find recorded programs and start playback
more quickly than ever.
The DMR-EH80V features a built-in DV terminal that makes it possible to dub DV-
quality images from a digital video camera onto the DMR-EH80V's hard disk drive or
a DVD disc. And a built-in SD card slot

enjoy quick, easy networking and file sharing between the DMR-EH80V and many
personal computers, digital still and video cameras, Panasonic's VIERA line of
plasma displays, and other SD-enabled A/V devices.
* From the power on, recording starts in about 1 second after the REC button is pressed. If the
GUIDE button is pressed while the unit is off, the Electric Program Guide (EPG) displays in less

The DMR-EH80V supports SD Memory Cards. However, it is compatible only with DCF-based,
still picture (JPEG) files recorded using a digital camera. It is not compatible with sound or
moving picture files not in accordance with DCF standards (e.g., MOTION JPEG files), or with
any type of still picture files other than JPEG/TIFF. When copying images from a digital still
camera onto the hard drive, we recommend that you also save the images to an SD Memory
Card or DVD-RAM disc.
