Setting the ON timer
To set the ON timer to turn on the TV automatically:
1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the CUSTOM menu
appears.
2. Press y or z to highlight ON TIMER, and then press ENTER.
3. Press the Number buttons (0–9) to enter the length of time until
the TV turns on automatically. You can set the ON timer in 10-
minute increments, up to 12h00m.
4. Press ENTER to start the timer.

5. Press POWER to turn off the TV.
The TV will turn on automatically after the length of time you
set in the ON Timer.
Setting the sleep timer
You can set the sleep timer to turn off the TV automatically.
To set the sleep timer using the remote control:
Press SLEEP to set the length of time until the TV turns off.

Each time you press SLEEP, the time display will increase by 10
minutes, to a maximum of 3 hours.
0h00m → 0h10m → 0h20m 2h50m → 3h00m → 0h00m
To set the sleep timer using the menu system:
1. Press MENU, and then press x or • until the CUSTOM menu
appears.
2. Press y or z to highlight SLEEP TIMER, and then press
ENTER.
3. Press the Number buttons (0–9) to enter the length of time until
the TV turns off automatically.
4. Press ENTER to start the timer.

To cancel the sleep timer:
Press SLEEP on the remote control until it is set to 0h00m or
enter 0h00 in step 3 above.
Note :
• When an instant power failure occurs, the
ON timer and sleep timer settings may be
cleared.
• To display the amount of time left until the
TV turns on or off automatically, press
RECALL.
