Using the favorite channel search function
You can use the favorite channel search function to quickly scan your
favorite channels (see “Programming your favorite channels” on page
29).
1. Press FAVORITE.
The TV automatically enters multi-window mode, and begins a
twelve-picture scan of your favorite channels.
(Press FAVORITE again to return to a normal picture.)

2. Press yzx to select one of the twelve pictures (becomes a
moving picture). The selected channel number is in purple and
the monaural sound of the selected channel is output.
3. Press ENTER to display the channel you selected in step 2 as a
normal picture.

About the auto favorite feature
If your TV is in the program lock mode, after 4 seconds, the TV starts
the auto favorite channel search function. See page 43 for details.

The favorite channel search function does
not operate in HDMI mode.
The aspect ratio of all main and POP
windows in favorite channel search mode is
4:3, regardless of the input signal format.
NOTICE OF POSSIBLE ADVERSE
EFFECTS ON TV PICTURE DISPLAY
Avoid displaying stationary images on
your TV screen for extended periods of
time. Fixed (non-moving) patterns or
images (including but not limited to PIP/
POP windows, closed captions, video
game patterns, TV station logos, stock
tickers, websites, and special formats
that do not use the entire screen) can
become permanently ingrained in the
cathode ray tube(s) of the TV and cause
subtle but permanent ghost images. This
type of damage is NOT COVERED BY
YOUR WARRANTY. See item 33 on
page 4 for details.
