I have been having this problem with my sv2000 dvd recorder: I try to record on dvd-rw disks, and sometimes it will record and then other times it won't. or it won't let use all of the disc room. Seems to have no rhyme or reason to it!!! This solution was offered: I've had this problem with DVD+/-R for years. I just clean the disk with water and reload. No problem recording. What I want to know is if this advice will work for dvd-rw discs? And why precisely is my machine doing this at all?
