Keyboard
The computer does not detect my keyboard, or my keyboard does
not work when I switch computers or reboot.
•Checkthatthekeyboardyouareusingisconnectedproperlyto
the Switch.
•CheckthattheUSBcablebetweentheSwitchandthecomputeris
firmly connected.
•TryconnectingtoadifferentUSBportonthecomputer.
•Makesurethekeyboardworkswhendirectlypluggedintothe
computer(theHIDUSBdriverisinstalledonthecomputer).
Rebooting may be necessary when trying this.
•Ifyouareusingkeyboardsoftwarethatwasincludedwithyour
keyboard, uninstall it and then reinstall.
•Ifthecomputeriscomingoutofstandbymode,allowuptoone
minute to regain keyboard function.
•Tryadifferentkeyboard.
Some of the keys on my keyboard are not functioning properly
when I use a Mac
®
computer.
•IfyouareusingaPCkeyboardonaMacsystem,afewoftheoption
keys on your PC keyboard may be reversed. All major keys will
function as labeled.
