Selecting a directory
To select a directory with the remote
control,
➮ press the button 6 repeatedly
until the selection mark is posi-
tioned on the directory symbol.
➮ Press the ENTER button >.
The directory list is shown on the ex-
ternal display.
➮ Press the or button 6 to
mark the desired directory.
➮ Press the ENTER button >.
The track list of the directory is dis-
played.
➮ Press the or button 6 to
mark a track in the directory.
➮ Press the ENTER button >.
The desired track is started.
Selecting a track from the track list
You can display a list of all tracks of a
DVD/CD on the external display and
select a track from the list.
➮ Press the PROGRAM button K.
The track list is displayed.
➮ Enter the number of the desired
track directly using the numeric
buttons 0 to 9 S of the remote
control.
After entering the number, the desired
track begins to play.
Or
To move up or down to another track/
file in the current directory,
➮ press the or button 6 once
or several times to move the se-
lection mark to the desired track.
➮ Press the ENTER button >.
The desired track is started.
Fast search
To fast search backwards or forwards,
➮ press and hold down the or
button 6 until fast searching
backwards/forwards begins.
Fast searching with the remote
control
You can perform a fast searching with
different speeds (2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, and
32x) with the remote control.
Note:
The search speed is shown on an
external display.
For fast searching forwards
➮ press the button @ on the re-
mote control repeatedly until the
desired speed is shown.
For fast searching backwards
➮ press the button @ on the re-
mote control repeatedly until the
desired speed is shown.
To end the searching,
➮ press the button A on the re-
mote control.
