Changing the Focus Setting

Youcanchangedefaultcameraoperationofconstantlyfocusingon

subjectsitisaimedat,evenwhentheshutterbuttonisnotpressed.Instead,

youcanlimitcamerafocusingtothemomentyoupresstheshutterbutton

halfway.

 Pressthe<n>button,choose

[ContinuousAF]onthe[4]tab,andthen

choose[Off](=



47).

constantlyfocusesonsubjectsuntilyou

presstheshutterbuttonhalfway.

Thefocuscanbelocked.Afteryoulockthefocus,thefocalpositionwillnot

changeevenwhenyoureleaseyourngerfromtheshutterbutton.

 Withtheshutterbuttonpressedhalfway,

pressthe<q>button.

Thefocusisnowlocked,and[f]and

theMFindicatoraredisplayed.

 TocancelAFlock,releasetheshutter

button,holdtheshutterbuttonhalfway

downagain,andpressthe<q>button.
