Step 2: Delete ScanGear (scanner driver).
1.
From the Start menu, select (All) Programs > CanoScan (model name) >
Scanner Driver Uninstaller.
2.
When a confirmation appears, click OK.
3.
When a confirmation for removing ScanGear (scanner driver) and all of its
components appears, click Yes.
4.
When all files are deleted, click Exit.
ScanGear (scanner driver) is deleted.
Step 3: Reinstall ScanGear (scanner driver).
Insert the
Setup CD-ROM
into the computer's disc drive, click Custom Install, select the ScanGear
(scanner driver) checkbox and reinstall it.
The above screen differs by model.
Note
Deselect the checkboxes to the left of applications that are already installed. These
applications will not be reinstalled.
