Attaching the Strap
Attach the strap to the strap ring as shown in the
illustration.
IMPORTANT!
• To avoid dropping the camera while operating it, be
sure to wear the strap around your wrist. Use the
buckle to ensure that the strap is fastened snugly
your wrist.
• The supplied strap is intended for use with this
camera only. Do not use it for any other purpose.
• Never swing the camera around by the strap.
Power Requirements
Your camera can operate on either battery power or AC
power.
• Battery
One NP-40 rechargeable lithium ion battery
The battery is not charged when you purchase the
camera. You need to charge the battery before using
the camera for the first time (page 35).
• Household AC Power
AC Adaptor: AD-C40 (Option)
