cidents are caused by poorly main-
tained Battery Chargers.

for operations different from those
intended could result in a hazardous

When battery is not in use, keep a.

Battery Charger Safety Warnings
Maintain labels and nameplates on 1.

Avoid contact with battery acid. If 2.

Turn vehicle OFF and allow to cool 3.

Remove keys from vehicle ignition

Before operation, check to be sure 4.
Battery Charger cables are connect-
ed to the correct battery posts. Red
must be connected to the Positive (+)
terminal. Black cable must be con-
nected to the Negative (-) terminal.
Keep Output Wires (12) and Power 5.
Cable (8) clear of fan, fan belt, pul-
leys and any other moving parts of
the engine.
Only use Battery Charger in a well 6.
ventilated area to prevent build up of
explosive gasses.
Do not allow the Red and Black ter-7.

vehicle battery cables to touch. Do
not allow the Red cables to touch the
frame or any metal part of the ve-
