XXV Pellet Stove
The products
of combustion will contain small particles of yash.
The yash will collect in the exhaust venting system
and restrict the ow of the ue gases. Incomplete
combustion, such as occurs during startup, shutdown,
or incorrect operation of the room heater will lead to
some soot formation which will collect in the exhaust
venting system.
Removing fly ash and soot improves efficiency
and insures that the ue venting passageway is clear
and unobstructed. The stove should be cleaned after
each ton of pellets (50 bags) and the venting system
inspected and cleaned after each heating season.

Turn
the mode slector dial to the "OFF" position. Allow the
unit to shut-down.
Contact your dealer to have the unit
professionally inspected and cleaned prior to use.
7. Remove the combustion blower by loosening the
3 wing nuts, twisting the combustion blower mount
plate counterclockwise to unlock, and pulling the
blower out.
8. Clean the combustion blower wheel with a brush and
a vacuum cleaner. Note: Do not use a household
vacuum to clean the stove. We recommend that you
use a shop vacuum that is equipped with a ne dust
lter called a HEPA lter or a vacuum specially made
for y ash and soot. USING A VACUUM WHICH IS
NOT EQUIPPED WITH A FINE DUST FILTER WILL
BLOW FLY ASH AND SOOT OUT INTO THE ROOM.
NOTE: THE STOVE MUST BE COMPLETELY
OUT BEFORE YOU VACUUM THE STOVE.
LIVE PELLET EMBERS, IF SUCKED INTO THE
VACUUM, WILL LIGHT THE VACUUM ON FIRE
AND MAY ULTIMATELY CAUSE A HOUSE FIRE.
9. Use a brush to clean the ue, being careful not to
damage the ESP probe.
10. Reinstall the combustion blower by turning plate
clockwise to lock into place and tightening the 3 wing
nuts. Be sure the fan plate is ush with the exhaust
housing on the stove body and the motor armature
points up toward the hopper.
11. Slide ash pan into the stove and latch the door.
