Speaker Volume (Function 41)
Your OKIFAX 740 has a built-in speaker to allow
monitoring of call progress during dialling. The volume
setting may be set to one of eight levels, from silent to
loud, as follows:
1. Press
[FUNCTION] [4] [1].
ADJUST VOL? Y/N
2. Press
[YES].

3. Press
[*]
to decrease or
[#]
to increase the volume.
4. Press
[YES]
to confirm your entry.
Buzzer On/Off (Function 42)
As you press keys on the control panel, you may hear an
audible beep. This function may be turned on or off as
required.
1. Press

for buzzer ON or
[#]
for buzzer OFF.
