An intercom is available between the main unit and portable handset.
Using the main unit:

Handset
Microphone
2Press (Portable handset).
3When the portable handset user answers, start talking.
1Lift the handset.

When pressing (Portable handset) instead of
lifting the handset, you can use the speakerphone.
Skip to step 3.
4Replace the handset or press (Speakerphone)
if using the speakerphone.
2When the main unit user answers, start talking.

You can switch to the speakerphone by pressing
(Speakerphone).
1Press (Intercom).
3Press (Off) to end the intercom call.
