Checking the brake oil level (03_16)
The front and rear brake fluid reservoirs are both positioned on the handlebars. Pro-
ceed as follows:
1. Place the scooter on its centre stand and make sure the handlebar is centred;
2. Check the fluid through the specific sight glass «C».
A certain lowering of the level is caused by wear on the pads. Should the level appear
to be below the minimum mark, please contact an Authorised Service Centre or
Dealer in order to have braking system thoroughly checked.
Braking system fluid top up (03_17)
Proceed as follows:
Loosen the screw "B" and lift the plastic cover "A" in order to access the brake fluid
reservoir. Loosen the two fixing screws and remove the reservoir cover; top-up with
the recommended fluid without exceeding the 'MAX.' mark.
This procedure applies to the rear brake pump top-up operation; follow the same pro-
cedure for the front brake pump.
Under standard climatic conditions, replace coolant as indicated in the scheduled
maintenance table.
This operation must be carried out by trained personnel; take your vehicle to an au-
thorised Service centre or Dealer.
WARNING
