Setup
The Setup menu contains sub menus that allow you to
configure your display, sounds, network preferences, security
options, as well as other settings.
Location
GPS identifies your location to the network. You can fully
enable this setting or set GPS to work only when 911 is used.
Check with MetroPCS to determine if/when/where location-
based services are available.
1. In standby mode, press the left soft key ( )
Menu, then
press , for Location. The Location settings listed
in the following table appear in the display.
2. Use the navigation key to highlight an option.
3. Press to select the function. You’re returned to the
Setup menu.

GPS is fully on wherever the feature is avail-
able.
911 Only
GPS is on (only) when you dial 911.
