getting started with your phone
To turn the touch tone on or off:
• In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings → Sound
and display → Audible touch tones.
To adjust the volume of the ringtones:
• In the Idle mode, press the Volume key up or down to
adjust the ringtone volume.
To switch to or from Silent mode:
To mute or unmute your phone, do one of the following:
• In the Idle mode, select Phone → Keypad and tap and
hold #.
• In Idle mode, press and hold [ ] and select Silent
mode.
• In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings → Sound
and display → Silent mode.
To change your ringtone:
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Sound and display → Voice call ringtone.
2. Select a ringtone in the list and select OK.
To activate animation for switching windows:
• In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings → Sound
and display → Animation → Some animations or All
animations.
To select wallpaper for the Idle screen:
1. In the Idle mode, press [ ] → Wallpaper and select
an option.
2. Select an image.
3. Select Set wallpaper or Save.
