Tracking AF
Track your subject, even when the subject is moving or when you change the shooting
composition.
Tap
→
Focus area
→
Tracking AF
, and select a subject.
Tap the subject to track, and then press the Shutter button halfway down to adjust the focus.
•
Tracking a subject may fail in the following conditions:
–
The subject is too small.
–
The subject moves excessively.
–
The subject is backlit or you are shooting in a dark place.
–
Colours or patterns on the subject and the background are the same.
–
The subject includes horizontal patterns, such as blinds.
–
The camera shakes excessively.
•
If the camera fails to track the subject, the focus area will be reset.
•
If the camera fails to focus, the focus frame will change to red and the focus will be
reset.
