HINTS FOR PROPER AND SAFE OPERATION
S Condensation
Moisturecancondense ontheopticallensoftheCD playerduringhumidorrainydays,orafterthecarheater
is turned on. Ifthis occurs the disc playermay not functionproperly. Toremedy the situation,removethedisc
fromtheunitandwaitapproximatelyonehour.Thisshouldallowthemoisturetoevaporateandrestorenormal
operation.
S TemperatureConsideration
Theunitmaynotoperate correctlyin extremelyhotorcold temperatures.Avoidexposingtheunittoextremely
highor low temperatures.
S Interruptionsinthesound (skipping)
Whenthecarisdrivenonveryroughsurfaces,thesoundfromtheCDplayermayskipandbeinterrupted.This
willnotcause anydamage to thedisc orthe player. If this occurs, wait for the road surface to improve before
using the CD player.
S Safety
Forsaferdriving,keepthevolumeatamoderateleveltoenableyoutohearoutsidesounds(suchasemergenĆ
cy vehicle sirens).
S Cleaningtheunit
Cleantheunitwithasoft,drycloth.Stainsshouldberemovedbywipingthesurfaceswithasoftclothimmersed
inlukewarmwaterand wrungdry.Neverusestrong chemicalsorsolvents.Thesewilldamagethefinishofthe
unit.
S Disccare
Whennotusing thedisc playerforextendedperiods,remove thecompactdisc andreturnittotheplasticstorĆ
agecase. Do notleave a disc partially ejected from the player.
S Servicing
Shouldaproblemdevelop,do notopen theunitortry torepairityourself.Ifservicingis required,bringtheunit
to aSanyo Authorized Service Center.
