Making a call from the Phonebook
When the phone is in standby, press [ ] to open the phonebook.
Scroll through the list with the
[ ] or [ ] on the four-way function key until you nd the phonebook entry you
want to call. (See Finding a Phonebook Entry on page 3
1).
Press the
OPTIONS soft key.
Move the cursor to select CALL LINE1 or CALL LINE2. Press the
OK soft key.
Or
Press
[ /ash] or [ ] on the handset or [ ] on the base. The phone will automatically select a free line. To
select a particular line, press the
LINE1 or LINE2 soft key.
Press
[ ] to open the phonebook.
Scroll through the list with the
[ ] or [ ] on the four-way function key until you nd the phonebook entry you
want to call. (See Finding a Phonebook Entry on page 3
1).
Press the
DIAL soft key to dial the number.
To insert a 1 in front of a phonebook number to enable long distance dialing, press
[
].
Making a call with Speed Dial
When the phone is in standby, press and hold the number key [0]-[9] until the assigned phonebook entry ap-
pears in the display.
Press
[ /ash] or [ ] on the handset or [ ] on the base to dial the number.
The phone will automatically select a free line.
To select a particular line: Press the
OPTIONS soft key. Move the cursor to select CALL LINE1 or CALL LINE2.
Press the
OK soft key.
Switching to the Handset Speakerphone during a Call
To switch a normal call to the speakerphone, press [ ] on the handset. To switch from a speakerphone call to a
normal call, press
[ ] again on the handset.
