20.18 Google Drive
Google Drive stopped syncing.
1 Make sure the NSA is connected to the Internet. See Section 9.4 on page 176 for details about
testing network connections.
2 Check if you have exceeded the Google Drive account’s storage quota. You may need to:
• Delete unneeded files.
• Empty the Google Drive trash bin. Note, this permanently deletes everything in the bin, even if
Google moved it there without telling you (because you moved a file out of the local sync folder
for example).
• Upgrade the account’s capacity
3 Click Maintenance > Log to check the NSA’s log messages. If a log message says you have
exceeded your storage quota on the NSA:
• Delete unneeded files.
• Clean out the recycle bin (see Section 17.4.2 on page 322).
• Increase the user’s quota on the volume containing the local sync folder (see Section 15.3.2 on
page 309).
4 Check for any logs about removal of the user account. When you remove a user’s NSA account, the
NSA also removes the link to the user’s Google account. However the NSA keeps the data in the
local sync folder. Reconfigure a user account and link it to the Google account to let the user use
Google Drive again.
