SETTING UP THE V-CHIP
The V-chip feature requires setting on/off to be entered to view movies and TV programs with unsuitable ratings
for some viewers who share the TV.
Follow these steps to lock movies and TV programs:
1. Press the MENU button on the remote control to bring up the OSD menu.
2. Continue to press the button to choose “ Initial setup” , press” set lock code” to bring up a lock picture.
press “ 0” button Æset lock code Æpress “Finish“ button Æpress the SEL button.
3. Use the ▲▼ buttons to highlight V-chip, and then press the SEL button.
4. Use the following table to set up your V-chip.
V-chip Function Options
V-Chip Block selected V-Chip function. On, Off
Set TV Ratings Block selected TV-rating and all ratings be below it. TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14,
TV-MA
Set Movie Ratings Block selected movie rating and all ratings be above it. NR ,G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, X

TV-G General audience Show Block
