SETTING UP THE V-CHIP
The V-chip feature requires a password to be entered to view movies and TV programs with unsuitable ratings
for some viewers who share the TV.
Follow these steps to lock movies and TV programs:
1. Press the MENU button on the remote control to bring up the OSD menu.
2. Continue to press the button until the System icon is highlighted and press the SEL button to show the system functions.
3. Use the ▲▼ buttons to highlight V-chip, and then press the SEL button.
4. Enter 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1 as the default password to gain access.
5. Use the following table to set up your V-chip.
V-chip Function Options
TV Guidelines Blocking Blocks selected TV-rating and all ratings below it.
TV-Y, TV-Y7, TV-G, TV-PG, TV-14,
TV-MA, TV-Rating
MPAA Rating Blocks selected MPAA rating and all ratings above it. G, PG, PG-13, R, NC-17, X, NR

Enter a new password.

R Restricted. Children under 17 should be accompanied by an adult

NR NOT RATED (NR). Contains no rating. Not Rated (NR) and Not Applicable (NA) programs.
To change password, enter the Change Password Number option in the V-Chip function, press SEL button to change password. Enter
six digital password in enter new password number. And then confirm the password by entering the same password again.
