DVD VIDEO SET UP > LANGUAGE SET
A MENU LANGUAGE
For setting the menu screen language for DVD Videos. When the selected language is not available on the disc, the disc’s
default menu language will be displayed.
ENGLISH
Sets the language.
JAPANESE, GERMAN, FRENCH,
ITALIAN, SPANISH, DUTCH, SWEDISH,
NORWEGIAN, FINNISH, DANISH
AA, AB, ..., ZU Set using language code. [ P106]
B AUDIO LANGUAGE
For setting the audio language to be played on the DVD Videos. When the selected language is not available on the disc, the
disc’s default audio language will be played.
ENGLISH
Sets the language.
JAPANESE, GERMAN, FRENCH,
ITALIAN, SPANISH, DUTCH, SWEDISH,
NORWEGIAN, FINNISH, DANISH

C SUBTITLE
For setting the subtitle language to be played on the DVD Videos. When the selected language is not available on the disc, the
disc’s default subtitle language will be displayed.
ENGLISH
Sets the language.

OFF Disables the subtitle display.
DVD VIDEO SET UP > AUDIO OUTPUT
D DIGITAL AUDIO OUT
Set in accordance with the device connected to the digital audio output terminal (digital coaxial). In addition, change the setting
when playing back bilingual sound. [ P92]
DOLBY DIGITAL/PCM
When connecting to a Dolby Digital decoder or an amplifier with built-in
decoder.
STREAM/PCM
When connecting to a DTS, Dolby Digital decoder or an amplifier with built-in
decoder.
PCM ONLY
When connecting to a device (MD recorder, etc.) that is compatible only with
linear PCM.
E ANALOG AUDIO OUT
Set in accordance with the device connected when playing back DVD Videos.
STEREO When connecting to an audio amplifier or TV.
DOLBY SURROUND When connecting to a Dolby Surround compatible amplifier.
