NOTE:

Still Picture/Frame-By-Frame
Playback

Pause during playback.

Activate Frame-by-frame playback.
Turn the

dial to the right for forward frame-by-frame
playback, or to the left for reverse frame-by-frame
playback.

High-Speed Search
During playback, turn the
JOG
dial quickly to the left or
right.
OR
During playback or still, press

for forward high-
speed search, or
3
for reverse high-speed search.
NOTE:
For short searches, press and hold 5 or 3 for over
2 seconds during playback or still picture. When released,
normal playback resumes.
NOTES ON SQPB:
● When you play back a tape recorded in S-VHS format and the
SP mode, noise may appear in the still, slow motion, or frame-
by-frame playback mode.
● Depending on the tape, noise may appear during normal
playback.
ATTENTION
● Picture may not appear during high-speed search with an
LP-recorded tape.
● In the high-speed search, still, slow motion or frame-by-
frame playback mode, the picture will be distorted, and
there will be a loss of colour.
