Tuner Set
The VCR needs to find, identify and memorise all available stations in your area in order to
record programmes correctly. Once done, pressing the
PR
or
PR
buttons enables you to
jump to the available channels without going via any vacant channels. This channel search
can be done either automatically or manually. You should only need to perform either of the
following procedures if Auto Setup or Preset Download has failed to identify and record
available channels or you have moved to a new area.

there for about 4–12 minutes while the VCR searches for receivable stations. During Auto
Channel Set the

note: If you have connected both the RF cable and the fully-wired
21-pin SCART cable, and if your TV offers T-V Link, etc., and the
TV is turned on, the VCR automatically performs the Preset
Download (pg. 11) even if you select “Auto’ for Auto Setup
function.
