SMART LOCK ACCESS CODE

ver the next few pages you’ll learn how
to block programs and understand the
rating terms for certain broadcasts. First, set
an access code.

Press the MENU button to see the
onscreen menu.

Press the
ł(CH UP) or Ń(CH DN)
buttons
to highlight the FEATURES
menu.

Press the Ł(VOL+) or ŀ(VOL-) but-
tons to enter the FEATURES menu.

Press the
ł(CH UP) or Ń(CH DN)
buttons to select SMART LOCK.

Press the Ł(VOL+) or ŀ(VOL-) but-
tons. INPUT USER CODE will
appear on the screen.

Use the Number buttons to enter 9,
2, 0, 3. This is the LCD TV
MONITOR’s default code. “
----” will
appear on the screen as you enter the
code. This protects its identity.
If INCORRECT appears, repeat steps
5 and 6.

The SMART LOCK menu will appear.
Check to see if CHANGE USER
CODE is highlighted, press the
Ł(VOL+) or ŀ(VOL-) buttons.

The screen will prompt you to enter a
new code. Enter a new four-digit
code using the Number buttons. The
screen will prompt you to confirm the
code you just entered. Enter your
same new code again. “----” will
appear when you enter your new code,
then the Smart Lock menu will appear.

Press MENU repeatedly to remove
the menu from the screen.
You cannot unblock a channel without know-
ing your code or changing it. If your code
changes, someone has altered it and possibly
viewed blocked channels.
If you forget your access code, you must
reset the Factory Settings, details on page 27.
HELPFUL HINTS
To change the Access Code later, follow
steps 1-6 so the Smart Lock menu appears.
