36 Wake Up Timer
The Wake Up Timer turns on the TV/VCR automatically at
a specified time within the next 24 hours. You may set the
TV/VCR to turn on at a TV channel or with VCR playback.
Before you begin:
_ Set the clock. Details are on pages 12-75. If the clock is not
set, you cannot set the Wake Up Timer.
_:_Put a tape in the TV/VCR if you want the TV/VCR to start
tape playback at the specified time.
Press SLEEP/WAKE UP until WAKE UP
TIMER appears.

Press PLAY/A or STOP/Vto select TV/TAPE.
Press F.FWD/_ or REW/<I to select TV or
TAPE. If you select TV, the current TV channel will
be on when the TV/VCR turns on, Select TAPE to
start tape playback when the TV/VCR turns on.

Press PLAY/A or STOP/T to select TIME.
Press F.FWD/i_ or REW/<I to select your
wake up time.
Each button press changes the time by 10 minutes.

Press MENU to remove the menu. Press
POWER to turn off the TVNCR. The TV/VCR
will turn on at the specified time.
Helpful Hint
• Tocancel the Wake Up Timer,
pressSLEEP/WAKEUPuntil
WAKEUPTIMERappears,then
pressF.FWD/I_ or REW/_I until
OFF appears.
