SETUP MENU (CONTINUED)
At the SYSTEM SETUP MENU, use the Navigation (,)
buttons to select RATING. Press the button
followed by the (,) buttons to select the desired
rating.

Press the ENTER button to select the rating; the desired
rating will then be set, and if DVDs with this new rating or
above are played, the user will require a password.
Password will lock automatically when the PARENTAL has
been changed or when you exit the Setup menu.

PARENTAL
The Parental option enables parents to prevent their children from watching inappropriate material on a DVD. It reads the
ratings for programming, then denies access to programming if the program’s rating meets the limitations you select. In this
case, the user will have to enter a password.
IMPORTANT: Before changing the Rating Level, make sure the password is unlocked, otherwise you will not be able to
enter the Parental function.
1(KIDSAFE): Kidsafe.
2 (G): All ages.
3 (PG): Parental
Guidance.
4 (PG13): Parental
Guidance less
than 13 years old.
5 (PGR): Under 17 years
old, Parental
Guidance
suggested.
6 (R): Under 17 years
old, Parental
Guidance
strongly
suggested.
7 (NC17): 17 years old
and above.
8 (ADULT):Adult only.
At the SYSTEM SETUP MENU, use the Navigation (,)
buttons to select PASSWORD. Press the button .

Input the 4 digit password (1234) , then press the ENTER
button . The lock will then be unlocked and you can
change the RATING.
NOTE: If you input a wrong password, “ERROR” will appear
on the TV screen and the lock will remain locked. In this
case, you need to input the password again.
To change the password, when the lock is unlocked, input a
new 4 digit password, then press the ENTER button 2; the
password will change and the lock will lock again.

PASSWORD
Select this option to change the password. You must know the old password in order to change it. If you have forgotten the
password, call customer service at the number listed in the Warranty.
