SELECTING THE PSEUDO PAL (EUR ONLY)
Initial Settings
Depending on the DISC, you can play an NTSC-DVD DISC, in PSEUDO
PAL MODE.
1 At the SETUP screen, press to select “Pseudo PAL” and
press
2 Press to select the desired output and press ENTER.
NOTES
The Pseudo PAL can be displayed when the TV system setting is set
to PAL mode and NTSC disc is inserted in this unit.
If there are some problems during playing back a NTSC disc, select
the “Pseudo PAL” to “On” mode.
The picture can be streamed according to TV type when the “Pseudo
PAL” is set to “On” mode.
SETTING THE TV SYSTEM
You can enjoy NTSC or PAL discs by changing the TV SYSTEM SETTING
to choose the appropriate system.
If you try to play back PAL disc with NTSC-TV, The player will not
playback the disc.
When the selected TV SYSTEM SETTING does not coincide with the
system of your TV, normal color picture may not be displayed.
When you playback NTSC disc with PAL-TV, some discs may produce
black bands at the top and bottom of the screen.

To enter the TV SYSTEM SETTING mode, in STANDBY mode, press and
hold the PAUSE/STEP button on the front panel for 3 seconds. In the
TV system setting mode, the display window displays the current
setting. Press the PAUSE/STEP button to change the setting. To change
the settings, press the POWER button to confirm the desired setting.
