This unit has indicators (lights on the front) to let you know the unit’s internal condition. (P. 10.)
Depending on the condition, the Lamp, Power, or Temp indicator will flash to alert you. In this case, turn unit off and
follow the measures below.
Indicator Symptom Problem Possible Solution
TEMP Indicator
Flashes red 1 or 3 times every
5 seconds.
Power shuts off. Malfunction Contact a service center.
Flashes red 2 or 4 times every
5 seconds.
Power shuts off. Internal overheat error. Wait a while, then turn unit back on.
Flashes red 5 times every 5
seconds.
Power shuts off. Malfunction Contact a service center.
LAMP Indicator
Lights solid red.
OSD appears
every time power
is turned on.
Maximum Lamp life hours
exceeded.
Replace Lamp
Flashes red 1 time ever 5
seconds.
Power shuts off.
Lamp will not light or light is
abnormal.
Try turning Power On several times. If
error persists, contact
a service center.
Flashes red 2 times every 5
seconds.
Power shuts off. Lamp voltage is abnormal. Contact
a service center.
Flashes red 3 times every 5
seconds.
Power shuts off. Lamp temperature is too high. Contact
a service center.
Flashes red 4 times every 5
seconds.
Power shuts off. Other error. Contact
a service center.
POWER Indicator
Flashes orange 1 time every 5
seconds.
Power shuts off.
The internal cooling fan is not
working.
Contact a service center.
Flashes orange 2 times every
5 seconds.
Power shuts off.
The Lamp Cover is
unsecured.
Securely attach Lamp Cover.
Note:
• If unit power is turned back on after performing the appropriate measures, make sure the unit has sufficiently cooled down. If the
unit was used for a long period such that the lamp needs enough time to cool down, this may take a while.
